Wish I had a better picture of this . Found this Knitted Vest at Goodwill for $2.50. My friend called me again this morning to go with her. She had seen something the other day she wanted and was able to buy it. I was not looking for anything but spotted this and bingo bought it.
The embellishments are pearl and other is silver and gold. Not one pearl nor one embellishment is messed up or missing. not one pick in the knit. The label looks as if it has never been worn. I found another great bargain at only $2.50.
I had never shopped at goodwill for any clothing until my friend ask me to go with her. I may now start going. I feel sure this vest would have been 25.00 to 30.00 at a retail store.
Darn ...... says picture to large. will go to photobucket and post from there.

Raven you are so right. I buy all my vases for my valentine set up there. I only pay .35 to .50 cents each and if I bought them wholesale at the florist wholesale place would cost me from $1.35 up. I put them thru my dishwasher and they are as good as new. Really a saving for me as I buy about 300 vases. I go everyweek during the whole year .
I do a lot of beading myself and I can tell you that it took a long time to put that together. You got a really great deal for sure. (that is why I don't bead any more) LOL LOL LOL

Wow you found a bargain looks like new. I find things once in awhile but here the things are price so expensive. I can go to another store and almost pay the same for something similar brand new.

Shopping at Goodwill/Salvation Army etc causes a serious illness call - Cheapo disfuncto.
After you shop these store for a while - with great success - you will find yourself saying "I'm not going to pay $40 for that blouse, I bet I can find one at the thrift store for about $2.50 that will be better.
I have been thrift shopping for many years and it is what I call no guilt shopping. I can purchse 5 outfits for the price of 1.

I have a friend that shops at GoodWill all the time. If you ask her where she bought a certain item, she will reply, "Oh, this came from the GW BOUTIQUE"! Thought that was a cute name for it.

Thanks gals for all the comments. I was really thrilled with this find. I live in a small town and maybe that is why prices are so cheap. I go every week to buy vases for my valentine set up but have never shopped for clothing there. But from now on I will take time to Look around. I can buy my vases there .35 to .50 cents each run them thru dishwasher and they are just like new. If buying at wholesale florist the cost is from $1.35 up. so a great saving for me on them. I buy about 300 vases so I do go everyweek all year long. My son stops at a goodwill when he goes to our larger town about 50 miles away and the vases are not as cheap. So guess the location of the store and the size of town does make a difference. My friend that asked me to go with her on these last 2 times when I found such great deals shops there all time for clothing and she has found great buys and you would never know they came from a goodwill. She bought a all wool coat for $5.50 that also looked as if it had never been worn. What a deal she got. My friend gave me the tip. look at the labels to see if they looked worn or items have been washed a lot.
I guess goodwill and thrift stores shopping is really a good idea. I am also going to start going to consignment shops.. and will also take some of my things there to be on consignment. Sure beats a hassle of a yard sale.

Mary, I so agree with you ...for me, it really is the thrill of the hunt! Don't forget, some these shops have special senior discount days with 50% off some items! :-)
