It isn't loading at all or is it not loading UPdates? Do you get an error message saying "can't load, URL might be wrong?" Mine doesn't update at all but it will load on my computer and I can still use it. I've sent screen shots and was told there weren't any updates.
----------------------------------------------- or if you can't get that to fix the problem of the non-functioning Browser
Installing the Browser again: Make sure you are "un-installing" just the Browser itself - before you try installing it again. Don't remove any of your collections etc. You can download the Browser from pcCrafter if its the FREE one, or from your Account if its the PayFor one - find it in your Miscellaneous downloads. You just want to uninstall first the application of the Browser that's not working - you can probably do that from your computers Control Panel - Add/Remove programs option.
Then click on the installation file of the Browser you just downloaded again. *make sure you write down on a piece of paper in front of you - where you are downloading the Browser application to on your computer** Once you have it up and fingers crossed "running" - then you will need to click on the Options button and choose SCAN FOR COLLECTIONS - this action will search your computer and find all of your installed collections. Then close your Browser, and wait a minute and reopen and your collections should show up.
There have been NO NEW UPDATES to the Browser in the past few years - the only update that I am aware of is the one for accepting the PNG files and letting the install files know that they need to go to the TIFF folder in the Browser. That update was in Spring 2006.
If you install the Browser again and you attempt to open it after installation, you may encounter the screen asking you to put in your pcCrafter account login and password - if it doesn't accept it or there is a Problem - then You DO have to phone pcCrafter at their Provo Utah offices and they will reset your password for you again. And then you should be good to go.
In most cases when you are having technical difficulties with the Browser - it is best to speak with an actual PCCrafter staff person. And go through the steps with them while you are on your computer and on the phone with them at the same time.
----------------------------------------------------------- Please NOTE: If you for some reason can no longer use the pcCrafter Hugbug Browser and the staff at pcCrafter can't help you: You can still always access your graphics going about it from the folders themselves in Windows - find your PC HugWare folder on your computer, then the Collections folder, then the Images folder >> from there are the subfolders Black, Color, Painted, and Tiff in those subfolders are the individual Collections folders of each collection you have installed. Click on any of them and all the graphics you have in that collection are accessible and you can drag and drop them from that folder over to your graphics editing program. NO this action doesn't remove the white surrounding the JPG graphics (found in the PAINTED folders) - for that you would need to utilize a remove white function in either your own graphics program that has a Magic wand tool or some other method that you may have found I show how I do it with the programs I own: http://www.teas2dine4.com/whiteouts.html
You also can access the graphics using a Free Browser - such as Faststone http://www.faststone.org - But again you would need to follow the same path - Find the PC HugWare folder, then Collections, then Images, then the Subfolders Black, Color, Painted, Tiff You can make the Painted and Tiff folders "favorites" in the Faststone Browser and then when you open it, click on the Painted folder and it will bring up a listing of all the individual subfolders in it, and you can click on them and view your graphics via that Browser. And NO you can't remove the white, while holding down your Shift key and dragging your image to your graphics editing program using the Faststone Image Browser. You also can't "Search" using Faststones Image Viewer/Browser.
Here are some screen shots showing how you would access and view your pcCrafter graphics via the free application Faststone Image viewer - I own the Faststone Image viewer - but mainly use my HugBug Browser for viewing my Creatables or ones I have marked as Favorites in my other graphics folders on my computer (I am not having any problems - knock on plastic - getting my hugbug browser to open or function properly) This is just an FYI for those unable to use the HugBug Deluxe Browser for whatever reason (*note: I am using a VISTA system, and on my Desktop I have Windows XP and Faststone works on both) To view my Painted folder (where the JPGS install to) and to view my Tiff folder (where the PNGS install to)
To view other collections on my computer:
You can also use other applications like the free one: Picasa, etc. to view and drag and drop your images from their individual folders.
Good Luck - hopefully you'll get it all worked out soon.

sorry it took me so long to get back here to thank everyone for their help! nothing is working however... hopefully i will be able to be awake during the day tomorrow to call support.. here is a screen shot of the files search found... however when i did a search for an executable file, i found none.. ie: .exe maybe that is the problem? i downloaded the browser deluxe from my account after i got an error message telling me to remove an older version, which i thought i had already done... i had also tried a system restore.. nothing seems to want to work.. so i will try calling support.. i do know i can access collections from going to "my computer"...and dragging and dropping into printmaster which i use, but it just drives me nuts knowing that my browser doesnt work.. i love it! maybe its talking about wanting me to uninstall old free browser??? could that be it libmary? i dont know... it starts opening up with that little yellow rectangle box you know? by saying, "please wait, loading" but then it just never opens the rest of the way

I lost mine quite a while ago, but my problem was different than yours.Support had no solution and I installed and reinstalled it so many times it was just ridiculous ... I sure have missed my browser and it's search feature ...hope you can resolve your issue .
That happened to me a few years ago as well and there was nothing that support could do to help me. I eventually learned to browse my files a different way. Sure hope you can figure yours out.
